About IBEROFIC
History
In May 2024,a statement of intent was signed in Madrid, bringing together more than 60 film commissions from across the region with the goal of moving toward an Ibero-American audiovisual co-production agreement.
That signature gave birth to IBEROFIC, a network that currently works on diverse topics to consolidate this agreement and improve conditions for the audiovisual industry by facilitating access to the benefits each territory offers.
IBEROFIC structures its work through working groups. Member organizations meet monthly to share progress, plan participation in international events, and coordinate joint actions.
In addition, the Network drives Open Mic, open sessions where each film commission presents its incentives, locations, and co-production opportunities.
Mission
The Ibero-American Film Commission Network (IBEROFIC) is a non-profit organization that brings together film commissions and film offices across Ibero-America.Our mission is to showcase, within the global market, the strengths and advantages of the region as a destination for international co-productions.
We foster a decentralized and equitable ecosystem that promotes the integration of Ibero-American talent into the global audiovisual industry, grounded in institutional and cultural strengthening.

Objectives
- Improve conditions for the Ibero-American audiovisual industry by enabling access to incentives and benefits in each territory.
